Im ready for a GREAT race

Who else is ready for this weekends race!
I unfortunately could not watch last weekends race in Texas, one of my favorite race tracks!

There needs to be some new people up top or even winning...like TONY STEWART!!

He is by far my favorite NASCAR drivers of all time! I love his additude and determination on the race track. Even better than just racing for the Sprint Cup, Stewart races midget modifies. Ive actually been to one of the race tracks in New York where his car was running but sadly he wasnt driving.

I show a huge heart for Open Wheel Midget Modifies. This past summer, I actually made one with my dad, the driver still drives it to this day. What an awesome achievement!

Jimmie Johnson

Why is Jimmie Johnson and his wife having another child one of the main news links on NASCAR.com?

I hope im not the only one that is confused about this!

Ya he won at Martinsville, which is amazing because it is his 8th win there..but shouldn't we be more focused on his wins and his standings and his performances than his wife expecting another child in September?

This weekend's races at Texas Motor Speedway give the drivers a chance to spread out on the 1.5-mile track. With 24 degrees of banking in the turns and a carnival outside of Turn 2, anything can happen at the Wild Asphalt Circus.

The NASCAR Nationwide Series hits the track Friday at 9 p.m. ET and the Sprint Cup Series takes to the track Saturday at 8 p.m. ET.

Justin in: Hamlin out for five races..

Danny Hamlin was involved in an accident that resulted in him getting air lifted to the nearest hospital.

Hamlin injured  one of his vertebrae..L1. There was no requirement of surgery, but he does need at least six weeks to comever.

For those of you that are wondering who is going to fill in for him..just stated that Mark Martin will substitute for the next race at Martinsville.

There are many things going through Hamlins mind, as he is bed ridden...one being his point standings in the Sprint Cup series. Hamlin is currently at  10th place in points. There is always hope for a wild card affect that he will be able to come back and perform very aggressive.

Logano and Hamlin

Logano and Hamlin had a disagreement after post-race after Hamlin sends Logano into a spin this past Food City 500 race.

Words were exchanged between the two race car drivers until the pit crew pulled them away. The whole story can be found on NASCAR.com.

Dale Earnhardt Jr

Its been coming up in the NASCAR news more frequently on how a dramatic increase in performance for Dale Jr. He finished Food City 500 in sixth-place. This would be his fourth consecutive top 10 in the Sprint Cup Series. Earnhardt is now second in the point standings after four races in the Sprint Cup Series, only 9 points behind Brad Keselowski.

In comments on the NASCAR website, Earnhardt gives alot of credit to his pit crew and his crew chief. This race at Bristol, his crew chief Steve Letarte made very wise calls and judgments that allowed Dale to make his way up the pack from starting deep in the back.

After some adjustments and changes, Dale hopes to see this top 10 streak constant and even a victory soon!
